Daytime program

Open Boat: daily, 12 noon – 6 p.m. , free admission

A space for encounters. Visit us with your children, explore our Pop Up exhibition and vote for a new name of the museum forecourt. Every day we offer lunch talks and workshops introducing the issues and themes addressed by the new Jewish Museum, such as: What is Jewish art? What are family ties and how long do they hold together? Tell us what you think and what you expect from the Jewish Museum. There’s lots to do and say – come along and participate.

Daytime program specials

A boat for the creative. On four Sundays we say: Ahoy kids! With music, exciting stories and engaging craft ideas. Creativity is also encouraged on board among our adult guests: come to our meet and greet with cartoonist Volker Reiche, discover our Pop Up exhibition or talk to us about the forms of inclusion in the museum.

Our complete daytime program is available on our German-language website: www.popupboat.juedischesmuseum.de

Evening program

Concerts, readings, panel discussions, performances and film screenings – over a period of six weeks the Pop Up Boat offers an opportunity to experience contemporary Jewish culture by way of new sounds and exciting stories in words and pictures – cheeky and serious, conscious of tradition and provocative, unsentimental and confrontational. Enjoy our program in the evening light on the River Main and against the Frankfurt skyline by night, along with drinks and the best hummus in town.

In case of bad weather, all events will take place below deck.
